Feel the adrenaline course through you on the Shearwater Jetboat experience. Hold on tight while the captain plots a route through the Zambezi River.

These 465 horsepower, bespoke-made Adventure Jetboats will take you right up the rapids and under the Falls into the Boiling Pot.

The true power and intensity of the Falls can only be felt as you view them from below.

After leaving the Boiling Pot, it’s time for a fast-paced and thrilling thrill ride up and down Batoka Gorge and through the Rapids.

The Shearwater Jetboat Experience has been specially designed for the Zambezi, and the captains are trained in river navigation. They’ll make sure you have the experience of a lifetime and then they’ll get you home safely.

The Activity

Pick up is free from any hotel in Victoria Falls. Hotels outside of Victoria Falls have an additional fee.
The Adventure Jetboat opens at 8am and the last boat leaves at 3pm. All trips leave on the hour.
You will be on the water for between 45 – 50 minutes, but the total time is around 3 hours.
The Adventure Jetboat can carry 12 passengers and only runs with a minimum of 2 passengers.
All passengers are given a lifejacket and helmet.
Children must be over 12 years old and must be able to fit in the smallest life jacket.
Photos and videos of your experience can be purchased for an additional fee.
You just need to be fit enough to walk in and out of the gorge and must fit into the largest life jacket and helmet to participate.

Bring Sunscreen, clothes you don’t mind getting wet, a hat and a waterproof camera. Comfortable shoes for walking in and out of the gorge.
Leave anything you don’t want to get wet and any valuables at your accommodation.
The Adventure Jetboat is usually out of operation in April and May for 60 days at high water and 30 days at very low water in October and November.
